The Bennington Public School district adopted an optional BYOD policy this year. My classroom is integrating technology to help students conceptualize and comprehend non-fiction texts through the creation of digital projects using a cross-curricular approach. In this session, we will describe the objectives of our project, examples of lessons and student's projects, and share students' written and recorded reactions as a result of this form of teaching.
